Octopus Energy referral code: get £50 credit with my link

I run Draper Digital and use Octopus Energy. Keeping running costs under control matters to me, and energy is one of the bills worth checking. I’m sharing my customer referral link so you can get a quote with the credit attached.

If you searched for an Octopus Energy referral code or promo code, use my link. There is no additional voucher to find for this referral reward.

Use my link before you start the quote. The referral needs to be attached to your direct Octopus signup; a separate switching-site journey does not carry it.

• Open my referral link and enter the details for your home.
• Compare the quoted tariff using your annual usage, unit rates and standing charges.
• Check that the £50 referral credit appears before completing the switch.
• Complete the move onto Octopus supply and your first monthly Direct Debit.
• Look for the referral credit in your energy account after those milestones.

For a qualifying household switch, you get £50 and I get £50. That is £100 shared between us, paid as energy account credit.

For an eligible business switch, the split is £75 for you and £75 for me. The same referral link is used, but you need the correct business quote journey.

I use Octopus, but I would still compare the quote for your property before switching. A referral credit is useful; the annual energy cost is the bigger decision.

Use the same annual consumption when comparing suppliers. Look at unit rates, standing charges, the contract length and any exit fee on your existing or proposed tariff. The monthly Direct Debit alone does not tell you which tariff costs less.

If you work from home, that does not automatically make your household supply a business energy contract. Choose the quote that matches the premises and the supply.

Octopus says the credit follows two milestones: the new customer is on supply and the first monthly Direct Debit has been successfully taken. Getting a quote alone does not earn the reward.

The reward appears in the energy account rather than arriving as a bank payment. If it is missing after the qualifying steps, ask Octopus to check the referral against your account.
